Who are the Friends of the Hamilton Public Library?
The Friends need a stronger membership base so we have a stronger community voice and can continue to support the public library system. For more information on membership benefits click here.
The Friends are supported by membership fees, donations, Nevada Lottery Ticket Sales, and through the sale of Entertainment Books.
The Friends provide a community voice in support of the public library system and advocate for the preservation and enrichment of our public libraries. The Friends are also involved in sponsoring literacy and educational programs, special events and donating to capital projects to enhance our library system.
The Friends of the Hamilton Public Library are members of the community who are interested in strengthening the Hamilton Public Library system. Members come from all walks of life and are united in their commitment to ensure the public library system remains a vital part of our local community.

The Friends encourage all of their members to be active and involved in the friends. You can help by encouraging people you know to join the friends, being involved in library programs, attending public board meetings and letting the Friends’ Board of Directors know about any concerns you have with the library system.
